2025 GOOD NEIGHBOR AWARD WINNER
Bruce Young | Flathead Lake Biological Station, Flathead Lakers, Flathead Lake Protection Association
Bruce Young has been a tireless advocate for Flathead Lake through decades of work with the Flathead Lake Biological Station, Flathead Lakers, and the Flathead Lake Protection Association. His passion, activism, and leadership have helped protect the “Jewel of Northwest Montana” from the growing threats of development, agriculture, and invasive species. Bruce’s behind-the-scenes efforts promoting sound science and effective regulations have been invaluable in keeping the lake as pure and blue as possible. In recognition of his commitment, the Flathead Lakers Association, supported by this year’s Good Neighbor Award recipient, will receive a $1,000 contribution from the NMAR Charitable Foundation.
