Your business evolves. Your contact information changes. Brokerages grow, merge, and launch new offices.
But if your member profile hasn’t been updated to reflect those changes, it’s not working for you — and that can create confusion for fellow members, affiliates, and even consumers trying to connect.
Taking a few minutes to review your information in the NMAR Member Portal helps keep everything accurate across our systems and ensures you receive important association updates.
Why It Matters
An outdated profile can mean:
- Missed emails about CE, events, or deadlines
- Incorrect information in the member directory
- Delays when processing brokerage or office changes
- Confusion between association and MLS records
A quick review now saves time (and inbox back-and-forth) later.
What You Can Update in the Member Portal
You’re able to update:
- Phone number
- Email address
- Mailing address
- Headshot
- Designations and certifications (where applicable)
Log in, head to your profile, make your changes, and click save. That’s it.

We’ve recorded a short screen-share tutorial that shows you exactly how to update your information inside the NMAR Member Portal.
Brokerage Changes & New Offices
If you are:
- Moving to a new brokerage
- Opening a new office
- Changing your office affiliation
These updates cannot be made directly in the Member Portal. They require official documentation and processing through the association.
Because brokerage and office changes must be completed by the Designated REALTOR®, the forms are not publicly linked. To begin the process, please email info@nmar.com
and let us know about your change.
Our team will send the appropriate form to the Designated REALTOR® and help move the process forward.
Submitting changes through the proper channel ensures everything is processed accurately at the local, state, and national levels.
Pro Tip
If your change impacts information displayed in the MLS, including brokerage details or license information, you will need to contact the MLS directly to request those updates.
The association and MLS operate as separate systems, so updating one does not automatically update the other.
