OUR STORY

More than 50 years of raising the bar.

NMAR was founded in 1971 with a simple belief: that real estate professionals who hold themselves to a higher standard make better communities. Over five decades, that belief has only deepened.

Today we're the largest local REALTOR® association in Northwest Montana and the second largest in the state — serving over 1,300 members across three counties. We've grown, but our purpose hasn't changed: to be the kind of association our members are proud to belong to.

As a member of NMAR, you're also a member of the Montana Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS® — giving you local roots and national reach.

OUR STANDARD

The Code of Ethics isn't just a checkbox. It's a commitment.

Every NMAR member voluntarily commits to the NAR Code of Ethics — a professional standard that goes beyond what Montana law requires. We enforce it locally, because we believe the REALTOR® brand should mean something.
GIVING BACK

The NMAR Charitable Foundation

Real estate isn't just about transactions — it's about the communities those transactions build. The NMAR Charitable Foundation channels the generosity of our members into initiatives that strengthen Northwest Montana for everyone who calls it home.

Community is our business.

When REALTORS® invest in their communities, everyone benefits — not just buyers and sellers, but neighbors, families, and future generations.
